Coronavirus (COVID-19) updated 4/03/20

Dear Member,

I hope that this message finds you and your family in good spirits and in good health. I know that there is a lot of confusion, concern, and anxiety out there right now surrounding the rapidly changing environment we are in while dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Many of you are still guarding the frontlines and working in your capacities under the DOL umbrella to keep our nation’s workforce moving forward. Thank you for your courage, and your efforts during these trying times. I want to make sure you know that while you are there for the national workforce, DOLFCU is here for you.

For the safety of our employees we have temporarily closed our branches until the social distancing restrictions and the stay-at-home orders in our area are eased. However, our staff continues to work remotely to support your needs through electronic communication and e-service channels. We are working diligently to respond to all of your needs/requests and provide you with options and alternatives to help you sustain your household and your family.

As I have mentioned in previous letters, we are actively working with you to defer loan payments, gain access to your cash through online transfers or ATM access. We have waived loan and ATM fees for March and April, are waiving penalties on early withdrawals of time deposits, and have emergency loans available should the need arise.

With the high levels of anxiety surrounding COVID-19, your account(s) with DOLFCU do not need to be a source of anxiety for you. We will continue to work tirelessly with you to accommodate and meet your requests and needs so that you can continue to focus on your task at hand – taking care of your family and of the nation’s workforce.

Please continue to visit our website frequently for updates and to contact us with your needs.

Stay vigilant, remain safe and healthy! Thank you for being a valued member of DOLFCU, Your Financial Cooperative.
